Our Beginning
       

The Potter's Clay Ministries, Inc. was founded in 1984 as an outreach to women and children in crisis. In 1985 Elizabeth Brakebill and her husband David came to Hot Springs as Executive Directors of this work and have remained to this day.

The name of this ministry is taken from Jeremiah 18:4 "And whenever the vessel the potter was making turned out wrong, he would start afresh and work it into another vessel, as potters do." 

We are a non-profit religious and charitable organization. All donations are tax-deductible. We are a faith-based work, dependent upon churches, businesses, organizations and individuals. We do not take state, federal, or local government funds. Your support is vital to our ministry.
